The Scunthorpe Alphas are excited to announce that the first of our American Football taster sessions will be held on November 23rd, 2024.
The session, which will be for our Under 16, Under 19 and Adult contact teams, will take place on the 3G pitch at John Leggott College in Scunthorpe between 18:00 and 20:30 GMT.
We are welcoming both new and experienced players, so it does not matter if you have played for years or are trying your hand at the game for the first time.
The session will give you a sense of practice organisation and flow, American Football drills and skills, and the culture and values of the team.
You can expect a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, but with a focus on improving you as a player.
Bring your football boots, a drink and plenty of energy!
Please take note of the site rules:
Footwear: moulded or rubber studs ONLY
Please ensure footwear is clean before entering pitch
No smoking or vaping on college site
No food or canned drinks - bottled drinks ONLY
No pets
Parking: Use car park opposite college
